Your students can practice their knowledge of each style with the 32 task cards in the activities pack.
The task cards have 2 different options:
- The first set of task cards contains multiple choice.
- In the other set, the student will have to identify the style of language used.
The task cards are similar but are great for higher-level thinking. The student will also have to explain figurative language to the reader. Answer keys for the task cards are included in the packet.
Use the task cards in centers, small group practice, or in sheet protectors and a marker. Students can also have fun quizzing each other using the cards.
