Independent reading comprehension questions (for teacher use) can by used as comprehension questions for any book.

 

Students should be reading every day in order to become better readers and sustain learning. Use these questions to see if students comprehend when reading independently.

 

TO USE: Print the questions on cardstock and keep them with a monitoring notebook or on a clip board. Select different questions based on the genre of book the student is reading or their place in the book.
