Included inside Elements of Poetry for 3rd 4th 5th Grade:
- NINE original poems that challenge your readers with different skills. The poems are written in various forms, including Lyrical, Free Verse, Humorous, Narrative, Concrete, and Rhyming.
- Each passage is available in a multiple-choice or short-answer option. There are five to six questions for each poem. I have also used these passages for significant tests and state testing prep.
- An editable and printable ECR (Extended Constructed Reply (Response). This can be used for students to document their text evidence. See the preview for more information.
- Writing Reflection Page for students to complete after reading the poems.
- An answer key is included for easy grading.
- Google Forms links for online practice.
- Extended response organizers with questions
Recently added: The extended response organizer will give the student an additional question after reading the poem. The student can use the organizer to find text evidence in the poem and have proof that their answer is correct. An answer key is provided for each question; however, please note that answers may vary.
