Summer reading & writing practice

This resource is for 4th & 5th graders to practice fun summer reading comprehension passages & questions and summertime practice writing prompts. Use this reading & writing packet to help students keep their learning fresh with a month’s worth of activities. Inside you will find a calendar that gives students direction on what they should be doing each day, a variety of worksheets, and extension activities.

Easy and no prep resource for a month’s worth of summer school tutorials or to complete at home with a parent. A computer or some form of technology is required for some of the lessons, as the lessons encourage students to look up information or to research and read. The topics covered inside the product are curriculum taught in 4th & 5th grade.

Inside, the activities vary in length and take kids different amounts of time to complete. This resource can also be used to see which skills students need additional help with over the summer. Everything is included inside this product to make it easy to print and use.
