The poem of the week – Poem unit is perfect for your 3rd, 4th grade & 5th grade (upper elementary) students to see if they understand poetry. Use this yearly mentor poems unit while also checking for reading comprehension. This monthly unit contains digital & printable reading passages with questions.

This no-prep resource features each month of the year. Each month focuses on holidays that are in the month, changing seasons, and topics related to the season.

Each month contains 5 DIGITAL SELF-GRADING PASSAGES that can be used for digital distance learning, in the classroom, or for home school. The self-grading passages are multiple-choice and use Google forms. The teacher will receive the grade upon completion.

The 5 PRINTABLE passages include multiple-choice, short answers, and a writing reflection page for each.
