Fun summer school activities

Description

Use this fun summer school activities packet for 4th & 5th-grade students to keep learning math, science, reading & writing over the summertime. The worksheets in this resource can be used over two months for fun summer school activities. Use the calendar inside this product to give kids something to practice Monday thru Friday. There are a variety of activities to complete, and each subject will be practiced once each week. PLEASE NOTE: This resource is a bundle of the MATH/SCIENCE SUMMER PRACTICE & READING/WRITING SUMMER PRACTICE and includes extra lessons inside.

ACTIVITIES INCLUDED:

✿ 4 Weeks of Reading comprehension practice (poem, nonfiction, fiction & drama)

✿ 4 weeks of writing practice (narrative, opinion, expository, free write). Each assignment includes prompts, graphic organizers & lined paper

✿ Calendar with a task each day (M-F)

✿ Extension lessons to follow for reading and writing

✿ 4 Weeks of Math practice

✿ 4 weeks of science practice

✿ Calendar with a task each day (M-F)

Use this resource for two months’ worth of summer school tutorials or completed at home with a parent. A computer is required for some of the lessons that review cirriculum learned in 4th & 5th grade.

Inside, the activities vary in length and take kids different amounts of time to complete. Use this resource in tutoring for additional help over the summer. Everything is included in this product and you can just print and use.
