This reading fluency practice for Kindergarten & 1st Grade using sight words is perfect for class or homework.
This reading fluency practice includes:
- Use of over 150 high-frequency words for first graders.
- Each sentence is between 5-6 words, with four sentences in the paragraph.
- 23 worksheets for reading fluency practice.
Each day, the students will read the paragraph and complete a task. Then, they will chart their growth using the graph at the bottom of each worksheet (shown in the preview). As a result, students can see how many sentences they can read fluently. When students are not graphing, they will practice various skills instead. For example, students will practice identifying capital letters, sound recognition, rhyming words, sight words, high-frequency words, etc.
This activity is great for independent practice, small groups, centers, or homework. This product is ideal for first graders but can be used for a high reader in kindergarten or at the beginning of 2nd grade.
