Description
Help to teach students learn about plant adaptions and their different functions with this life science foldable book activity. This resource can be used for 4th or 5th-grade students to show them the variety of ways plants survive.
INCLUDED IN THIS PRINT & GO ACTIVITY:
❀ Directions on how to put together the foldable book.
❀ Pages for students to view an example of the adaptation, page describing the function, and example pages. On the function page, students can either write down notes or cut and glue the function in the correct space.
❀ The page that describes each of the functions of the plant adaptation
❀ The teacher answer key is included.
As seen in the preview, students will use this activity to understand the different parts of the plant including the:
❀ROOTS– (Aerial, shallow & tap)
❀LEAVES– ( with traps, showy & needles)
❀STEMS– (thorns, spines, prickles & tendrils)
❀SEEDS– ( carried by animals, eaten by animals, carried by the wind & carried by the water)
❀FLOWERS– (pollinated by the wind and animals)
