Pineapple All about Me Pennants: Back to School Writing Activity

Have students fill out a pennant banner and hang in your room for back to school. This can be your students first writing assignment! This activity is fun to display in your classroom on a clothesline or a bulletin board for the first months of school to get to know each other.

Another option: Use this as a “getting-to-know-you” activity. Have students interview one another as they fill out their pennant banner and students can decorate.
