Use these mini mysteries reading comprehension activities to help your students understand the genre. Inside this resource are 17 short stories with clues to help 2nd & 3rd graders make predictions using the text. Please note: These mysteries may be easy for fourth graders depending on reading level and skills.
The mysteries are several paragraphs in length and can be used in a small group, centers, or for individual or partner work. Each of the mysteries includes 5 comprehension questions to help your students to make predictions using the text. There is a separate recording sheet for kids to write down their answers, which can be used in various ways.
